Well first let me give to rarity statistics. And yes all rarities are legit, but most don't know about the ones higher then Pearlescent, but I'm friends with a beta tester for the game. Dark Oranges are I believe a 1 in 60,000 chance of spawn. Anything above that are not good odds

Rarities are much more complicated (or simple) than "Oranges drop once in 60,000". It is a simple as "Random gun is random parts", and then the color is calculated from the sum of the random parts.

The Bone shredder is guaranteed to be both Tediore, and an SMG, meaning the "BODY" part is chosen in a pool of six parts: "body1"-"body5"+"body3_Savior". All you need is for "body3_Savior" to spawn.
